# Domains

> Connect custom domains to your funnels for professional branding

Domains lets you connect custom domains to your published funnels. Add your own subdomain, verify DNS records, and link it to a funnel — all from one page.

  Custom domains are optional. Your funnels work on a default subdomain without any domain setup.

## How to add a domain

<Steps>
  <Step title="Go to Build > Domains">
    Open the **Build** module from the sidebar and select **Domains**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Add Domain">
    Click the **Add Domain** button in the top right corner. A pop-up will appear.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your domain name">
    Type your custom domain in the format `subdomain.yourdomain.com` (e.g., `meetings.dundermifflin.com`). The domain must include a subdomain — at least two dots are required.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Connect to a funnel (optional)">
    Select a funnel from the dropdown to connect this domain to, or choose **Select Later** to connect it after setup.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Save">
    Click **Save** to add the domain. It will appear in your domains list with a **Not Verified** status until DNS records are confirmed.

## How to verify a domain

  <Step title="Open the domain configuration">
    Click on a domain in the list to open its configuration page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Copy the DNS records">
    The page shows the DNS records you need to add. Click the **Copy** buttons to copy each record.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add records at your DNS provider">
    Log in to your DNS provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudflare, Namecheap) and add the CNAME or proxy records shown.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for DNS propagation">
    DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate. Once your records are live, the domain status will update to **Verified** automatically.

## How to connect a domain to a funnel

On the domain configuration page, open the **Actions** menu and select **Connect/Transfer Domain**. Choose the funnel you want this domain to point to from the pop-up. You can reassign the domain to a different funnel at any time.

## How to manage domains

* **Search** domains by name
* **Delete** a domain from the configuration page (confirmation required)

## Domain statuses

| Status       | Meaning                                                       |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Verified     | DNS records are correctly configured and the domain is active |
| Not Verified | Domain has been added but DNS verification is pending         |

## Tips

* **Set up your domain before running campaigns.** DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours, so add your domain early.
* **Use subdomains for different campaigns.** For example, `whitening.yourpractice.com` for one funnel and `implants.yourpractice.com` for another.
