# Ads

> Generate platform-specific ad copy for Facebook, Google, Instagram, and YouTube

Ads generates AI-powered ad copy tailored to specific advertising platforms. You select an offer, choose your platforms, configure variation counts, and the AI generates multiple copy variations you can review, approve, or edit.

  You need at least one **offer** in [Offers > Care Plans](/modules/offers/careplans) before you can generate ad copy.

## How to generate ad copy

  <Step title="Go to Write > Ads">
    Open the **Write** module from the sidebar and select **Ads**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Create New Campaign">
    Click the **Create New Campaign** button in the top right corner.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose your creation method">
    You'll see two options:

    * **Generate Copy with AI** — AI generates multiple variations based on your offer and brand voice
    * **Create Copy Manually** — Write your own ad copy or upload from a file

  <Step title="Select an offer">
    Choose the offer you want to create ad copy for from the **Select Offer** dropdown.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select platforms">
    Check one or more platforms. Each platform shows its character limits and format.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure variations per platform">
    Each selected platform shows its own variation settings. See the platform reference table below for available options.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set awareness level (optional)">
    Choose how aware your audience is of the problem and your solution. Defaults to **Problem Aware**.

  <Step title="Click Generate Variations">
    Click **Generate Variations** (or **Create Ad Copy** in case of manual ad copy) to start generation. You'll see a success toast and be redirected to the ads list. Each ad shows a status badge while processing.

## How to review variations

Once an ad copy is completed, click it to open the detail view:

* **Approve** or **Reject** individual variations — click the approve or reject icon on a variation card to move it between the main list and the "Disapproved Variations" section
* **Edit** a variation inline — click the edit icon on a variation card, modify the headline, description, or body content, then save
* **Copy** the full content to clipboard
* **Provide feedback** — thumbs up/down or detailed comments
* **Delete** the ad copy (confirmation required)

Variations are grouped into two sections: **Generated Variations** (approved and pending) and **Disapproved Variations**.

## How to manage ads

* **Search** ads by title, platform, or status
* **Delete** ads (click the delete icon, confirmation required)

## Supported platforms

| LinkedIn  | 1-15 variations                                         | Headline: 70 chars, Description: 100 chars, Body: 600 chars  |
| TikTok    | 1-15 variations                                         | Caption: 2,200 chars                                         |

## Awareness levels

| Level          | Description                                                                      | Risk              |
| -------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------- |
| Unaware        | Audience doesn't know they have a problem. Requires significant education.       | High              |
| Problem Aware  | Audience knows the problem but not the solutions. Ideal for educational content. | Low (recommended) |
| Solution Aware | Audience knows solutions exist but not your product. Great for differentiation.  | Low (recommended) |
| Product Aware  | Audience knows your product specifically. Harder to stand out.                   | High              |

## Ad statuses

| Status     | Meaning                                |
| ---------- | -------------------------------------- |
| Queued     | Ad copy is waiting to be processed     |
| Processing | AI is generating the copy              |
| Completed  | Copy is ready to review                |
| Failed     | Something went wrong during generation |

## Tips

* **Select multiple platforms at once.** Each platform gets its own optimized copy in a single generation run.
* **Use Problem Aware or Solution Aware.** These are the recommended awareness levels and produce the most effective ad copy for most audiences.
* **Review and approve variations.** Use the approve/reject workflow to track which variations you plan to use.
