# Onboarding

> Set up your workspace and preferences with the guided onboarding wizard

When you first sign up, a guided wizard walks you through setting up your workspace. The wizard has 11 steps — most are optional and can be completed later from Settings.

## Step 1: Create Your Workspace

This is the only step where every field is required.

| Field                  | Description                                                                                                                                    |
| ---------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Workspace Name**     | Your organization's display name.                                                                                                              |
| **Workspace URL Slug** | A unique identifier for your workspace URL (min 3 characters, letters/numbers/hyphens). Availability is checked in real time. |
| **Your Role** | Your role in the company — Founder/CEO, Clinical Director, Office Manager, Patient Coordinator, Case Manager, Marketing Manager, or Assistant. |
| **Address** | Full business address with Google Places autocomplete. Address Line 1, City, State, Postal Code, and Country are required. |

<Info>
  The workspace slug becomes part of your invite URL: `app.etho.net/i/your-slug`. Choose something short and recognizable.
</Info>

## Step 2: Website Domain

Enter your website URL so Olympus can scrape and analyze it to **pre-populate your Brand Codex** — saving significant setup time in the Brand module.

* Accepts a bare domain like `example.com`; the system adds the protocol automatically.
* If you skip this step, an empty Brand Codex draft is created for you to fill in manually.

<Tip>
  This step is optional but highly recommended. Providing your website lets AI extract your brand colors, messaging, and positioning automatically.
</Tip>

## Step 3: Objectives

Select the goals that matter most to your practice. These personalize your Dashboard recommendations and AI suggestions.

| Objective                     | What it means                                     |
| ----------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| Build campaigns quickly | Go from idea to live ads in minutes |
| Scale my practice | Grow your patient base and revenue |
| Replace my ad agency | Handle everything in-house without agency fees |
| Rapidly test new ads | Launch multiple variations to find what resonates |
| See the holes in my funnel(s) | Identify where patients drop off |
| Build more sales copy/scripts | Generate patient-focused copy and scripts         |
| Understand my results easily | See what's working in plain English |
| Have a 24/7 marketing team | Let Olympus run marketing automatically |

You can select as many as you want, or skip this step entirely.

## Step 4: Welcome

A brief introduction to Olympus. Your workspace URL is displayed for reference. No action needed — just continue.

## Step 5: Theme Selection

Choose your visual preference:

* **Light** — light backgrounds with dark text
* **Dark** — dark backgrounds with light text
* **System** — follows your operating system setting

The theme is applied immediately and can be changed anytime in Settings.

## Step 6: Command Menu Introduction

Olympus has a **Command Menu** (Cmd+K on Mac, Ctrl+K on Windows) that lets you quickly navigate to any module, create new items, or search across your workspace.

This step introduces the concept. The next step asks you to try it.

## Step 7: Command Menu Demo

Press the keyboard shortcut shown on screen to open the Command Menu. This is the only interactive step you must complete — it ensures you know the fastest way to navigate Olympus.

1. Press **Cmd+K** (Mac) or **Ctrl+K** (Windows).
2. Browse or search the available commands.
3. Select any action or press Enter on "Continue with Olympus."

<Note>
  The commands shown are real — you can use the Command Menu to navigate throughout the entire app, not just during onboarding.
</Note>

## Step 8: Connect Integrations

Optionally connect your ad platforms and CRM now, or skip and do it later from the [Integrations](/modules/integrations) module.

| Platform                        | Status                                              |
| ------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **Meta** (Facebook/Instagram) | Available — connects via System User Token or OAuth |
| **LeadConnector** (GoHighLevel) | Available — connects via OAuth |
| **Google Ads** | Available — connects via OAuth |

Connecting Meta here saves a step later — the launch checklist counts it as complete.

## Step 9: Invite Your Team

Add team members in two ways:

* **Share an invite link** — copy your workspace URL and send it directly.
* **Send email invitations** — enter an email address and assign a role (Admin, Standard, or Viewer).

Team invitations respect your subscription's member limit. You can always invite more people later from Settings.

## Step 10: Communication Preferences

Toggle two optional subscriptions:

* **Changelog** — bi-weekly emails about new features and improvements.
* **Blog** — notifications when new blog posts are published.

Both default to off.

## Step 11: Completion

Your workspace is ready. A welcome email is sent to your inbox with your login details. Click **Enter Olympus** to land on your Dashboard and begin the [launch checklist](/quickstart).

## Creating Additional Workspaces

If you already have an account and need a new workspace, the wizard is streamlined to 5 steps:

1. **Workspace Creation** — same as above.
2. **Website Domain** — same as above.
3. **Integrations** — same as above.
4. **Team Invite** — includes an option to add existing team members from your other workspaces without re-inviting them.
5. **Completion** — workspace is created and you can switch to it from the sidebar.
